Robert Breschard (Westport): News Maker Of The Month

Robert Breschard, a reputed commercial building management professional, is the Westport news maker of the month. He was recently in news for managing portfolios of up to 13 million square feet of institutionally and privately owned property for the Canadian Imperial Bank; JPMorgan/Chase; Sony Corporation, Equitable Life, INVESCO, Marsh and McLennan, ING. Mr. Breschard has over 30 years of experience in managing individual properties and portfolios, monitoring building operations, administration and financial performance and for managing construction and redevelopment projects. He is presently working as a Director Asset Services at CBRE. He joined the company in 1995 as a Portfolio Manager and has developed, managed and monitored operating budgets and the financial performance of commercial properties from a value added perspective.

Robert Breschard holds numerous New York City licenses including the Refrigeration Operators License and the Fire Safety designation. In addition to this, he is also a BMOI designated Real Property Adminstrator (RPA). A member of Real Estate Finance Association of Ct, and a licensed NYS Salesperson, Mr. Breschard has supervised major capital projects, which include energy management systems, chiller retrofits, lobby renovations and tenant installations. Before joining CBRE, he worked as the Vice President, Senior Area Manager at JMB Properties Company, where, he managed Class A commercial office buildings ranging from 100,000 square feet to 1.6 million square feet in size.
