ROBERT HOWARD AND NORTHEAST MOTOR WORKS INC AWARDED $275,000 IN DAMAGES

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 4, 2010 -- Robert Howard President of Northeast Motor Works Inc is to receive sum of $275,000.00 after NYS Department of Motor Vehicles wrongly accused him of several customer complaints that were found out to be not true.
In its action, New York State Motor Vehicles claimed Northeast Motor Works Inc did not treat its customer correctly and had wrong doings of official paperwork with several of its clients.

In opening the council’s case this morning, Tom Rider of Rider and Mason Law Firm said they would be calling evidence in the afternoon that Mr. Howard did nothing wrong durning his ownership of Northeast Motor Works Inc.
When the case resumed after lunch, Mr. Hussey of The NYS Dept of DMV said he wished to withdraw the claims about the alleged cases as it was inaccurate and he would not be proceeding further with any pending or past cases of Northeast Motor Works Inc.
Mistaken information had been provided by a NYS DMV Inspector and this was compounded by him misleading customers of Northeast Motor Works Inc for false complaints.

Following an adjournment, Mr. Hussey said a settlement had been agreed involving Robert Howard and Northeast Motor Works Inc. Mr. Howard’s attorney stated the NYS DMV agreed to lift all charges against his company and re-issue his license to operate in good standings as a NYS Auto Dealer.
Mr. Howard’s council also stated that a monetary award of $275,000.00 dollars will be paid to Northeast Motor Works Inc for damages caused by The Department of Motor Vehicles not following proper procedures with the inspectors involved.
