Rock Block Party on the Strip!

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 15, 2009 -- Los Angeles, CA, Aug. 15 2009—Up-and-coming Los Angeles rockers Ambrose bring you the very best in local Los Angeles live entertainment, Saturday August 15th at The Key Club in West Hollywood. After the great success of their first event, “Sex On the Strip,” Ambrose is back at their home-base on the Sunset Strip for another stellar night of classic rock ’n roll. Honey Pot Radio, the best local underground radio station with a huge online presence, will be co-hosting and spinning the best in local R ’n’ R all night long.

Stage 1 at The Key Club will feature Hollywood’s best up-and-coming acts, including Altered Echoes, founded by Whitestarr’s Damon Webb; Dirt Mercy, a band that combines classic elements of blues, funk, Latin and folk music with a modern twist; and FireBug, an award-winning band from Chicago’s Wicker Park.

At midnight, Ambrose will take over the stage, debuting their video “All I Ever Wanted” as well as distributing free samplers from their upcoming album, mixed and recorded by Anthony Focx (Grammy nominee) with oversight from Marty Fredricksen (Buckcherry, Aerosmith, Journey and more). Ambrose has been hard at work re-mastering and finishing the world-class artwork for Promise Land, their long-awaited debut album. Now it’s time to hear the fruits of their labor.

Meanwhile, more great music will be available at the Plush Lounge, The Key Club’s VIP room downstairs. Bon Tweedle offers catchy pop tunes with a rock edge, Smith & Pyle bring their “100 Proof Desert Country Rock,” and singer-songwriter Jonny Burke delivers country-tinged rock. The Muddy Reds round out the offerings, hailing from Los Angeles but bringing a classic southern touch to their sound.
