ROCKERS UNITE TO RAISE FUNDS FOR ALICE COOPER’S ROCK TEEN CENTER

This “superband” will be coming together for a rare performance with Alice Cooper at the 11th Annual Christmas Pudding concert on December 17th at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix to help raise funds for Cooper’s new Rock at 32nd Street Teen Center (The Rock) opening Spring 2012.

A dream and passion for Cooper and his Solid Rock charity for more than 10 years, The Rock will minister to teens through the music, dance, art, sports, recreation, and fellowship. With so many public schools forced to cut vital programs like music and dance due to lack of school funding, The Rock will cultivate a love of the arts to inspire and challenge teens to choose artistic excellence instead of drugs, guns, or gangs.

“It is humbling to have all these incredible musicians and entertainers donate their time to help us make The Rock a reality for at-risk youth,” says Cooper. “We’ve been taking our music and dance programs into the streets for years and soon the kids will be able to come to us in a safe, nurturing environment. Without the support of these musicians and this community, The Rock would not be a reality.”
