REDWOOD CITY, Calif., February 22, 2010 - Bi3 Solutions , the company that is driving the evolution of Business Intelligence (BI) to Decision Optimization, today announced that veteran technology and software sales executive Roger Travis has joined the company as its Senior Vice President of Sales. The company is also pleased to announce that Nathaniel Burge has joined as Vice President of Product Development. In December 2009 the company announced the addition of Eric Miles as CEO. Mr. Miles and Mr. Travis worked together at Sybase where they were successful in building the Business Intelligence division, and Mr. Miles has also worked with Mr. Burge at Point Marketing where they transformed the company from consultative video production firm to Software-as-a-Service provider of online video-based training and product demonstrations.

In his role as Senior Vice President of Sales, Mr. Travis will be responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of the company’s sales efforts. He will manage all field, in-house and channel sales functions of the company, and will be instrumental in establishing market, channel and target customer strategies, ensuring the company stays abreast of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies. Mr. Travis brings over 30 years of business intelligence, performance management and data warehousing software sales and marketing expertise to the company. He previously held the positions of President of DB Technology, Director of CPM Solutions at SAP, Vice President Sales at Pilot Software, VP Business Intelligence Sales at Sybase, and Senior Director Sales at NCR/Teradata.

Mr. Burge, as Vice President of Product Development, will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s Integrated Decision Optimization Center™ (“IDOC”) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform strategy, planning, development and launch. He will oversee all software development activities, formulating and executing the company’s software development strategies and leading the company’s business analysis, systems analysis, and software engineering and development functions. Mr. Burge will also be involved in the strategy, design and deployment of the vertical/horizontal Decision Intelligence solutions based the IDOC platform. Mr. Burge has over 15 years of information technology, software and SaaS product development experience, complemented by his capabilities in software sales and marketing.
