A happily married wife and newly stay-at-home mother, Candace Nadine Breen actively engages in advocating for women. Her internet radio talk show "Candidly Candace" on blogtalkradio (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Candidly-Candace ) discusses various issues in the women's community. Such featured guests on her show include well-known authors Nikki Giovanni, Mary Monroe and Mildred Muhammad. In 2009, Candace launched her business "Candidly Candace" which has hosted successful benefits for RAINN ( the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network) and The Big Sisters of Rhode Island.
Candace also dedicates her time to sharing her personal story of pain and triumph publicly and through her involvement in the RAINN Speakers' Bureau which landed her a feature in the October 12th, 2009 issue of PEOPLE Magazine alongside the Mackensize story. Not only does Candace physically reach out to the women's community, but she also does it virtually with her website www.candidlycandace.com and virtual women's community on Ning (all links can be found on her website).
