“People who were recently laid off do have options to start a whole new business life”, said Jeffrey Taylor, founder of the Jeffrey Taylor Group. “Becoming an entrepreneur and running your own business is the best thing I ever did. And, that was 25 years ago.”
The SBA recently stated that “the American economy relies upon vigorous and pervasive business startups to inject new energy, acquire new knowledge and technologies, create new jobs, and provide new goods and services for its extended growth. Sustainable economic growth is key to our nation’s long-term prosperity.”
Mr. Taylor reinforced this national observation with his own personal experiences.
“I was fired many times in my early corporate career and have found a lot of happiness in my entrepreneurial career. It has given me the freedom to do what I want, when I want, and make enough money to live the life I always wanted. Once I decided to help others (instead of myself), I found that great opportunities came my way.”
Jeffrey Taylor is the founder of Jeffrey Taylor Group, a holding company for Jeffrey’s various operating businesses which include, Showbiz Management Advisors, a film and TV production advisor, Scottsdale Luxury Cruises, a luxury cruise agency and Deep Discount Business Travel, a business consolidator.
Jeffrey Taylor is no stranger to the self-help book market. He has previously published two textbooks for the equipment leasing industry (Selling Leasing In A Tough Economy and The Future of Equipment Leasing), Going from W2 to 1099, a step-by-step process for reinventing entrepreneurship, and an autobiography on his life as a recovering alcoholic (A Gentleman Drunk).
Between his busy business schedules, Mr. Taylor teaches commercial real estate courses at the Professional Institute of Real Estate in Scottsdale, AZ.
