TIOGA COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT & PLANNING WINS NYS EDC “BEST OF CLASS” WEBSITE AWARD

OWEGO, NY - The Tioga County Department of Economic Development & Planning (ED&P)
is pleased to announce that the newly re-designed website www.developtioga.com has won the

“Best of Class” award from the New York State Economic Development Council at the annual
conference held in Cooperstown, NY.

With the technical expertise of Steve Gorney and Chad Windnagle of s-go Consulting , Spencer, NY, and the creative vision of ED&P, a comprehensive site for residents and businesses has been created which is easy to use, includes a variety of information and provides open access to government records.

Some highlights of the website include:

• Calendars for ED&P events, small business classes and community events
• Visual artistic features and translation ability for international viewers

• Community Online Mapping Information Tool and Real Property Data Viewer access
