2nd Annual Coat Drive

Harlem, NY – The winter season brings with it family gatherings, togetherness and the holiday spirit. But for more than 40,000 homeless, and the 19% at or below the poverty line in New York City, the winter cold is bitter.

In the spirit of giving and togetherness, on December 13th, 2011, S.W. Roseburgh, Landon Dais and Friends announce the 2nd Annual Winter Coat Drive and networking mixer to support New York Cares!

Where: Chocolat Restaurant Lounge, 2217 Frederick Douglass Blvd (at 120th Street)
When: December 13th, 2011, from 7pm to 10pm
Event admission is a new, or gently used, coat or warm article of clothing.

Last year, we collected 367 coats and cold-weather items, and we hope to increase our donation this year. Spread the word and help us reach this goal in the spirit of the holidays. We hope to help New York Cares reach their goal of 100k coats.

Directions by train: Take the B/C to 116th St. or A/D to 125th St.
