Sabre Jetting Services Ltd Secure Major Hydro-Demolition Work required On The M5 Tewkesbury Road In The Midlands

The works consist of 40m3 of concrete removal to the abutments of the bridge running underneath the M5.

The hydro-demolition will be carried out in phases to ensure the structural strength of the bridge remains in-tact. Sabre will remove a section of the abutment which will then be poured back and allowed to reach strength before the next phase of hydro-demolition is required.

As part of the package, Sabre Jetting Services Ltd will be providing water using a tanker based hydro-demolition unit they have also worked with the Environment Agency to create a solution, involving the use of one of their Siltbuster FB50 units, for discharging the run off water to nearby ground.

This project will serve as an excellent example of how Sabre Jetting Services Ltd are able to lighten the work load of their clients and meet the needs of a modern working site by providing a complete water jetting package.
