Sammie Clemens is set to leave CSI:Miami to focus on novel writing

(Free-Press-Release.com) June 23, 2010 -- Sammie Clemens a TV show writer is set to embark on the journey of writing a series of novels that will focus on his growing up in Southern Indiana and the drug problem, especially prescription drugs and meth or crank.

Sammie has been a TV writer for the past four years after graduating from the University of Indiana and then attending Miami for his master's degree. He has stated in a recent article with 305 Magazine that he is, "preparing to write five or six books on growing up around the prescription drug problem." and that he has a few, "hip hop related people." that will are sure to have some great stories in.

Sammie said he might mention a few things about now deceased song writer, Static Major.

Sammie is a recovering addict who still attends AA meetings. He has said that leaving the state of Indiana and pursuing TV saved his life, but now he needs to move forward and write fiction.

He also said that he has sealed a distribution company who will release his yet untitled first novel.
