SAMPLE SITE PRINTS 2500 IMAGES FOR CANON CUSTOMERS

The images are from Canon EOS photographers who also print all their work on a Canon ImagePROGRAF large format printer. The site has provided samples to some 2500 requestors in the past four years, influencing many Canon sales and making large format printers more easily accessible.

Sample Print aims to provide excellent quality samples to help purchases decide on their next or new large format printer. Using images from renown photographers and artists in specific fields, Sample Print believes they can provide Canon customers with a true representation of the type of work the customers wish to see. ‘Our images are very real’ says co-director Rob Andrews ‘We always wanted to provide end users with a true reflection of the type of image they would want to produce themselves’.

The images displayed on the site are all from Canon EOS photographers. Drew Gardner, whose images Sample Print displayed from the start, shoots his work on a Canon EOS 5D MKII. All of Drew’s images display fantastic subject matter which is painstakingly arranged. He captures the drama of the occasion making his work ideal to display the ability of Canon large format printers. Landscape artist David Anthony Hall, who moved to Canon printers when he met Sample Print in 2009, takes arrestingly beautiful nature shots often of trees. David shoots all this work on a Canon EOS 1D MKll and prints on a Canon ImagePROGRAF iPF8100. He has provided three images for the Sample Print website. David’s work represent large format printing perfectly, as many of his images are 3m to 5m wide. David puts his iPF8100 through rigorous testing in his everyday work and proves to be an excellent advocate for the products, often advising fellow photographers to try Canon large format printers. Industrial photographer, Keith Cooper, came to Sample Prints attention when he favourably reviewed the iPF6300. As a commercial photographer, Keith’s work helps those looking for CAD reproduction and photographers in the Architectural and Industrial sector. Keith uses a Canon EOS 1Ds Mlll and prints his work on his Canon iPF6300. Artist Piers Bourke bought his own iFP6300 after he ordered a print sample from Sample Print. Piers produces 3D art created by layering work to create a unique and unusual 3D effect. Piers provided Sample print with two of his creations, Van at Night and Saigon at Dusk. Both offer Fine Art users a wonderful representation of what the printers can achieve in this sector.
