Sculpture SD was founded by Doreen Wiedenfeld, who has developed inter-personal relationships with cosmetic professionals throughout San Diego county. Early on Doreen proved she had a knack for creating relationships when she worked for 16 years as the Assistant Vice-President/Branch Manager at Mission Federal Credit Union, soon after she became apart of a great team at the Hideaway Recovery Retreat where she worked with many cosmetic surgeons offices and their patients.

I asked Doreen how Sculpture SD came to be. Doreen said "once the Hideaway Recovery Retreat closed, I realized a need for a local resource guide specifically catering to San Diego clientèle. In doing so, I researched information, interviewed various writers and professionals and formed Sculpture SD.

Sculpture SD launched its first issue in Spring 2010 and is now becoming San Diego's premier resource guide for cosmetic surgery, dentistry and well-being.
