San Francisco Sushi Chef offers fun, healthy and delicious alternative to team building activity and private homes on special occasions with friends

San Francisco, CA - August 29, 2011 - Kaz Matsune, a San Francisco Sushi Chef has been offering sushi-making classes to corporations as part of their team building activities, as well as private homes on special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries. “There are many people who love eating sushi, yet making sushi still remains secret to most people, which makes the class fun and exciting,” Kaz explains. “When I share with them those secrets, they tell me that they have deeper appreciation toward what we sushi chefs do.”

Kaz travels to client’s offices and homes in Bay Area to teach basics of sushi making such as making of rice, knife skills, how to make California roll and advanced skills like how to make sashimi. He brings all the ingredients needed for the class. Ingredients are very important to Kaz and in most cases, he tries to get organic and sustainable fish and vegetables as much as possible. He even takes clients’ special request for special fish or dishes to make at the class.

Kaz was a sushi chef at Ozumo in San Francisco with over ten years of professional culinary experience and six years of teaching cooking classes in both US and Japan. When asked what the most important thing in cooking is, Kaz says, “It’s a joy - to enjoy cooking and have fun doing it. That is the most important thing. I want people to feel that in my class”
