Coit Tower
Coit tower was built on Telegraph Hill in the year 1932 after the money Lilly Hitchcock Coit - an heiress left in her will for the city's beautification. As Lilly had a unique passion towards San Francisco Fire Department and so this monument is designed like a fire-hose nozzle. The view from this tower will leave awestruck as you can see San Francisco Bay, the Marin Headlands and two bridges.
Octagon House
The very word ‘Octagon’ explains that design of the house and this odd building was built in the year 1861 due the 1800’s popular theory that people living in the Octagon House will breathe healthier, Happier lives. The building at present houses a museum of Federal Era decorative arts and American Colonial.
St Patrick's Church
St Patrick's Church was built in the year 1851, was established to serve San Francisco's Irish community. The dedication of the church is revealed in the church's green, white and gold décor.
The columns are made out of Connemara green marble imported from Ireland which is present on either side of the nave. The church also displays photographs of damaged church during the 1906 earthquake.
