The Charlotte County (FL) Chamber of Commerce awarded Arthur Rutenberg/SandStar Homes the 2011 Small Business of the Year! Jim Natoli, Chamber president, described SandStar’s past year….“From an all time low in 2008-09, they sold 14 homes in 2010 and by July 2011 had 16 new homes under contract. The remodeling division increased 300-400% since January 2010 & put hundreds of subcontractors back to work. This aggressive approach to marketing included a revamped website, email marketing, Facebook and new blog. They were awarded the “2011 Builder of the Year” by the Rutenberg franchise and their Coquina model was the “2011 Model of the Year”. Both Jim Sanders & Larry Sandles are extremely active in the community.”
