Business women, franchise owner, public speaker and since 2009, Breast Cancer Survivor Deborah Delaney is our featured guest on North Ohio’s WHBC 1480 Talk Radio Show, Wriggling in the Middle, on Monday, January 24 at 9:10 am (Eastern Time). Deborah will speak about maintaining her life and career while dealing with her illness and how the support of her family and friends pushed her through the trying times.
Deborah, will share her experiences starting with the call from her doctor on Christmas Eve 2009, preparing herself and her family for what was in store, surviving the process of surgery along with the financial stress of dealing with a life threatening illness. While treatment differs per the circumstance, Deborah will discuss how her situation might have been altered if she was at a larger corporation, share techniques that allowed her to work through chemotherapy and her experiences with short-term memory loss and what she learned to help future survivors. Deborah will also expand on how her illness and treatment has positively affected her ability to work with seniors and what she has passed on to caregivers as well as future cancer survivors.
