Creator of the game, “Doggone Grief” and director of Aultman Grief Services, Brenda Brown is our featured guest on North Ohio’s WHBC 1480 Talk Radio Show, Wriggling in the Middle, on Monday, January 31 at 9:10 am (Eastern Time). While grief is not a laughing matter, Brenda has developed a new game titled, “Doggone Grief”, to help kids work through their hurt and will talk that as well as other ways to deal with grief.

Whether it’s over your job, family or relationships grief takes on several roles. Brenda will speak about grief, its characteristics and how we can get through it and help our children and other family members deal with their pain. Brenda will inform our listeners on what signs to look for when someone isn’t dealing with their grief properly and what they can do to help. Brenda will also share various programs and services that Aultman Center offers and where to go in your city for help, including various school grief programs.

Brenda Brown is the director of Aultman Grief Services and certified in grief counseling and thanatology from ADEC (Association for Death and Education and Counseling) with a master’s degree in the same field. Brenda is a member of the Stark County Traumatized Task Force, the Aultman Women’s Board as well as a member of the Compassionate Care Advisory committee. Recently Brenda was able to blend her art background (she holds a Bachelors Degree in Art Education) and love for dogs with her current career and develop a children’s game called “Doggone Grief”. “Doggone Grief” a game that helps grieving children is currently being sold throughout the U.S.
