Santa Hunt Day 7: Hattie Hayridge Offers Ted Burns a Miracle
Tony Balls, played by Red Dwarf star Hattie Hayridge, is a lawyer from a law firm with a special new client who’s ready to blow the whistle on Santa Claus.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) December 7, 2011 --
It is day seven of Ted Burns’ quest to hunt down Santa Claus, who – with reference to both his enormous circumference and overall personality – is increasingly becoming known as the Christmas Crusher.
Yet what’s worse than a showdown with a reindeer-neglecting, elf-hating, parking fine-accruing festive madman? You guessed it. A lawyer. (Indeed, a lawyer called Tony Balls played by Hattie Hayridge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hattie_Hayridge), the star of Red Dwarf and a famed stand-up comic. Don’t blame her. She’s only acting.) But while most meetings with members of the legal profession tend to lead only to a massive invoice and a general loss of self-worth, lawyer Tony Balls from a law firm has got some good news for Ted: Legomass, the elf at the centre of allegations about Santa, has finally woken up from his self-indulgent coma.
A meeting with Legomass confirms the extent of the villain’s crimes. A hardened investigative journalist like Ted may think he has seen everything, but when you force someone to watch all seven Policy Academy films – that’s right. Even Mission to Moscow – you cross a moral boundary too big even for nine out of ten extremely well-qualified autocrats. But can Ted wheedle enough information out of Legomass to find Santa? And if he does, will Steve Guttenberg be there, too?

About Keen City
Keen City’s name is derived from a verse in the poem The Moon’s A Balloon by E.E. Cummings, which talks about a place full of pretty people, where everyone is in love and flowers pick themselves. The company is, however, based in London, which falls short of this description in at least a couple of ways. Possibly more. Especially when you’re on the Tube. Nasty business.
The company’s first short film, Alleyman, won the British Lion Award for Achievement at the British Independent Film Awards, 2011, and received an honourable mention at this year’s Los Angeles Independent Film Festival. Another short, Darkest Before Dawn, premiered at the Cannes Short Film Corner in May 2011. A project of similar length, The Tyrant’s Cup, is currently in post-production, and Keen City’s first feature film, The Cult, is currently at the financing stage. The Keen City team is also working on a number of exciting television projects. Stay tuned.
