Kenneth P. Thompson, Ph.D., is a retired U.S. Army colonel and a Korean expert. Dr. Thompson lives with his wife in Bristow, Virginia, and is currently working on two other books - one on the politics of commercial remote sensing and one on the prognosis of America in the 21st century. He currently works for a Massachusetts-based government contractor as an analytic director.
