(http://STEMConference.com) - Educators involved in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) will be excited to learn that the 2011 STEM Grants Virtual Conference is now accepting registrants for its March 1st - 4th event. This first-of-its-kind initiative is designed to inspire, inform, and educate those involved in STEM education about how to (a) find funding opportunities (b) write proposals and (c) win awards.
This four day event features a different keynote speaker each morning, including:
* Astronaut Dr. Winston Scott – Dean, College of Aeronautics at Florida Tech
* Dr. Ioannis Miaoulis – President, Boston Museum of Science
* Darlene Cavalier – Founder ScienceCheerleader.com and ScienceforCitizens.net
* Dr. Douglas Arion – President Galileoscope LLC
The keynote presentations will be followed by detailed “how-to” presentations during the remainder of the day. The conference will also provide insights into funding opportunities available at NASA, the Department of Education, the National Science Foundation, and private corporations. In total there are 19 different presentations planned for this event. Attendees can participate from the convenience of their school, university, non-profit organization, or even their home.
Each presentation features:
