SE-SOFT.COM releases SE-MediaPlayer version 1.6.2

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 28, 2010 -- SE-SOFT.COM, a developer of free portable software, announces a new version of the audio and video player SE-MediaPlayer 1.6.2.

With latest version users can organize and play files of all modern multimedia formats. For this, SE-MediaPlayer includes a set of additional audio and video codecs and utility for quick installing and removing these codecs from the system. SE-MediaPlayer 1.6.2 has many improvements over the previous version. For example, built-in media library can work with really large number of files and the speed of the program does not depend on the amount of music or video added to the library.

Simple and convenient filtration function lets you quickly search for songs and videos by name of the file or directory, artist or album name, date of publication, ID3 tags or any other meta tags written in the file.

SE-MediaPlayer interface has been revamped and currently the program can operate in three modes: a compact, normal and full screen. In compact mode, the program has a skinnable interface and displays only the basic playback controls. In normal mode, the user is given the opportunity to work with the media library, configure the current playback list and watch videos. Full screen mode is intended primarily for viewing movies. Program interface is translated to the following languages: English, German and Russian, and any user has ability to translate program to native language with SE-LocalizeApp tool.

By the way, anyone who is skilled in computer painting can easily create a skin for the compact mode to his taste, because a skin for SE-MediaPlayer is actually a single PNG image file.
