Sea Glass Properties expands their US Virgin Islands real estate firm to St. Croix

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 16, 2012 -- St. Thomas, VI) Sea Glass Properties announces the opening of a St. Croix office, becoming the only real estate agency in the territory with hubs on both St. Thomas and St. Croix. This expansion of a company, which initially opened its doors just four years ago, is a testament to the agency’s market strength. Sea Glass Properties, whose headquarters are located on the waterfront at Yacht Haven Grande, boasts aggressive sales figures for 2011, exceeding those of every other agency on St. Thomas, according to statistics from the St. Thomas Board of Realtors.

“We’re working really hard on behalf of buyers and sellers, and it’s what’s enabled us to expand to St. Croix,” said Sea Glass Properties broker/owner Kerstin McConnell, a life-long St. Thomian. She said the reason her agency not only survived but managed to grow despite its debut in late 2007 when the real estate market started a precipitous decline, was thanks to her team of sales agents. “I managed to secure a great team of people, and I now have a co-owner, Nick Vanassche, whose marketing and internet skills have really catapulted us into a leading position in the marketplace.”

The new office, located at 5 King Street in Christiansted on St. Croix is home to 8 agents, including Broker/Owner Kurt Walcott who has been in business for over 20 years on St. Croix. St. Croix represents an important step for Sea Glass, according to Mr. Vanassche, because today our clients demand maximum exposure and the ability to service all three US Virgin Islands and Water Island.

Altogether, Sea Glass Properties is home base to over 20 sales agents spread between the three islands.
