Forks, Washington (January 7, 2012)- There is no wonder why Hosted Buyer Programs are very hot when it comes to business owners, there is no doubt that being in touch with different people leads to a lot of advantages. If for businesses, there are the glory of exchange events where they could meet the people they need, normal people have the wonders of social networking sites. Just recently, Damon Brown was able to find a kidney that would prolong his life with the help of the famous social media, Facebook.
Damon Brown was successfully found a kidney donor after telling his story on a facebook page called “Damon Kidney”. With the help of his family and friends, the link was forwarded to all the people they know until it reached the knowing of his wife’s acquaintance who they have known for a long time but hasn’t really considered a close friend. the woman became the donor for Damon.
The woman said that it wasn’t really for the 38 year old Seattle dad, but for his kids. The donor believes that brown’s kids need a dad to be around, the reason why she is donating one of her healthy kidneys to Brown. This just proves the power of having a lot of friends and acquaintances, who can actually help in times of need.
The number of people who are relying to social networks in finding organs and other things they need are increasing. The power of social media has been a really good help to those people who are looking in need. Just like the concept of attending Summit events wherein businessmen would be able to meet a lot of people who can be their prospective customers and client in the future, the importance of having a good connection with people is very important.
Damon Brown revealed that at first, he was a little embarrassed about having to announce his need for a kidney donor in such a public site like facebook. But eventually, he saw how this was a great idea for it eventually led for him finding the generous person who would actually help him out.
The donor, Jacquelline Ryall said that she felt like donating her kidney to Brown as a give back for the health and safety that she was blessed. She does not have kids and was therefore attracted by how beautiful the kids of Damon and his wife’s kids are.
