Seattle Startups and Jobseekers mixer on 9/30 @Jobnob PSN Happy Hour

Jobnob PSN Happy Hour is a networking event to connect jobseekers willing to volunteer (or work for alternative compensation) with Seattle startups. Jobnob has already done FIVE of these events in the Bay Area since May and they typically draw 200-300 people and have been a phenomenal success. Who comes to our events? Everyone from bootstrapped startups to companies funded by the top VCs & angels like Google.org and YCombinator. And our jobseeker attendees are just as impressive: Stanford engineers, Harvard MBAs & other top Ivy League grads. We have done some school specific events: Stanford-Jobnob Happy Hour , Harvard-Jobnob Happy Hour , Berkeley-Jobnob Happy Hour and some have been open events http://www.jobnob.com/happy-hour.

We have our first Seattle Jobnob Happy Hour event planned on 9/30, and anticipate it will be a huge success:


Hey Jobseekers: Frustrated with your job search? Meet cool new startups!
Hey Startups: Strapped for cash? Buy a few drinks and find volunteers!

Come "Jobnob" with cool new startups and other job seekers at this informal networking happy hour where unemployed people who want to keep their skills sharp are matched up with startups that could use their help.

Industrious Job Seekers—are you willing to volunteer at least 5-10 hours a week for a startup? Help out a startup up and you’ll get a leg up on the competition, keep your skills sharp and have some good experience to put on your resume.

Cash Conscious Startups—are you looking for smart and talented people to help grow your company? Come with one or two specific projects that you need accomplished and we’ll help you find the perfect person to get the job done.
