Welcome visit Our WebSite:
http://www.securityorb.com “Cyber-bullying has been an issue for a while, but with advances in user technology that allows our youth to video, distribution and post information in real-time and continuously 24 hours a day, the problem has worsened.” comments Kellep Charles, “The effects of this constant cyber-abuse has raised awareness mainly due to the recent cases of suicides and attacks such as school shooting by victims who have been bullied.”
Bullying is a critical issue facing students today (CDC). Approximately 864,000 teens report staying home one day a month because they fear for their safety. Nearly 5.7 million kids and teens are bullied, have been bullied, or both (National Youth Violence Prevention Resource Center).
With SecurityOrb.com’s FREE information awareness program geared towards middle school children ages 11-14 in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area on Internet Safety for Kids, we are hoping to bring this issue to the forefront on National Stop the Bullying Day and beyond.
