From Friday, January 13 until Sunday, February 12, the royal white tigers will be featured in a live exhibit showcasing the precariousness and beauty of these natural predators.

Gita and her two cubs, Kumal, and Kozmo. These exotic beasts are ready to pounce and purr some life into the cold Chicago months, and Navy Pier has set up some exciting events to coincide with the coming of the Royal White Tigers. Specifically, experts and professional animal trainers will be on-site to host one-and-a-half-hour educational Tiger Talks. These talks will center around not only the physiology and behavior of these magnificent animals but also their historical plight as an endangered species and their role in their native ecosystems. During these talks, the trainers will demonstrate feeding and basic handling of the royal white female tiger and the tiger cubs.

Gita and her cubs are available to audiences of all ages from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets can be purchased for $5 per person, with $20 family packs that admit up to six visitors also available. Groups of 20 people or more can qualify for a discounted group rate of $4 per person.
