Right now, Cary M. Silverman, M.D. and EyeCare 20/20 are partnering with their friend Andy Sernowitz and the folks at GasPedal to use the power of recommendations and referrals to bring clean, safe drinking water to developing nations, they call it See: Water.

New Jersey ophthalmologist Dr. Cary Silverman will be donating $100 from every LASIK surgery performed at EyeCare 20/20 between July 14 and Labor Day to help provide safe drinking water to people around the world. “In conjunction with Andy Sernovitz, a friend who runs an excellent event called the How to be Great at Word of Mouth Marketing Conference, we will attempt to raise $50,000 for Charity : Water this summer, a very worthy cause,” said Silverman, the Medical Director of EyeCare 20/20.
