See Why This Comment Stunk
Now I have been holding onto this post for a while now, and it all started when I write a post back in early February.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) April 21, 2010 --
Since I have been in network marketing when it comes to my business, and in my eyes it's the best way to do business, there is a ugly side which people do not really talk about. It's the side in where people love to criticize you, or give you negative feedback.
I am not one for letting people get the better of me and it would be to easy to give bad comments back, and I know by reading a lot of books, these type of people will make it hard for themselves to get anywhere in life, so I just let these people carry on there merry way.
Now the reason I am putting this post together is just to give great support to all those great people out there who are doing there very best in what they do, and if you are at the beginning of a project and you get some sort of negative comment then, smile and carry on.
Now what was the comment I got for me to put this post together,
The post was called "How You Can Get Targeted Followers On Twitter" and within a few days I got a rather nice comment......!!!
Here is the comment.
"Interesting topic! But, to be honest, I’m a bit disappointed in your article.
I don’t believe just searching a few times will be enough to get the targeted followers you want.
What about people finding you? Consistent use of #hashtags is a good way to start. Using a few tags often will get you found!
Another way is to get Retweets. This way the people following your followers can also see what you have to say. Or you could explore who your followers friends are and follow those people.
There are a lot of options here! To bad you covered only the most obvious one."
Now you may find the comment more constructive than rude, but let me tell you why I found it rude.
Just by the way he started of the comment, "Interesting topic! But, to be honest, I’m a bit disappointed in your article." and the way he ended it, "There are a lot of options here! To bad you covered only the most obvious one."
Yes he had a point in the middle of his comment which if it was not for the beginning and the end of what he said, then it would be a very valid feedback.
Now I went over to this nice man's site and it looks like he has a great presence in what he does, so why he would post a comment like this is totally over me.
So lets say you got a comment like this on your site, what would you think about it. Would you have approved the comment? Would you have found it rude? Or would you think it was valid feedback? I would really like to here your feedback.
To Your Valid Feedback Success
