This non-profit organization is compiling a book called The Blessings of Autism. Seeking submittals to inspire and bring hope to struggling families with the condition.

Autism is still extremely mysterious. Sam Assad was diagnosed when he was 3 years old. The prognosis was not good. His family was told that they were in denial and that they were wasting their time and energy on a useless cause. Sam's mother just kept pressing forward and Sam got all the intensive therapy that was recommended. Today he is a straight A student attending a regular school. Sam's mother has started a foundation to raise money for children to get immediate therapies to avoid delays in receiving assistance. The most vital aspect of recovery is "early intervention". Help For Autism is a non-profit organization that spearheads funding for speech and occupational therapy. Their current fundraiser is to compile a book of short stories of inspirations. Cute things the autistic child did or said. Sam's family states that the biggest blessing of autism is the people it attracts. People that love these kids are sincere, genuine and kind.
