"Seeking Super Sheros" Contest Now Seeking Submissions

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 30, 2012 -- Seattle WA, January 27, 2012 -- Strategic Living, LLC, Safety and Self-Defense Training has announced a contest, Seeking Super Sheros. People who can imagine, describe, and draw what it would be like to have a self-defense focused super power have an opportunity to win prizes if they flesh out their idea and submit it.

“I’ve been asking my self-defense students if they could have any super power for self-defense, what it would be.” said Joanne Factor, Owner and Instructor at Strategic Living, LLC. “Answers ranged from becoming invisible to flying to super-speed to mind-reading to future-seeing.”

Now Factor is asking the public what their ideal super power for self-defense would be, whom would they help, and what would motivate their Shero to use her power. Contestants are requested to send in their Shero’s name and description, along with a visual representation (drawing, painting, photograph, avatar). First prize is an iPod Shuffle, second prize a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate, and third prize a $10 iTunes gift certificate. Deadline is April 15th, 2012 at midnight, Pacific time. Winners will be notified by June 15th, 2012.
