A female dog named GILLY was seen by a daughter of an Indian Army officer in front of their house in Vasant Vihar block A-6 in Delhi, now Colonel Tiwari enjoying retired life with his wife and this animal lover baby girl was married.
Ms. Seerat Khara daughter of an IAS officer Shri Risal Singh Khara, Chief Executive, Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board also providing feeding to needy animals, GILLY as well in her area, Khara's family shifted to Gurgaon but Seerat used to visit Gilly regularly, One day she came to know that someone has took Gilly from A-6 to other place then she ask her father to help, after a long search this female dog was found with the Friendicoes SECA and this NGO operated again whereas Gilly was already sterilized in past, duly vaccinated against rabies as well as per statement given by the Colonel Tiwari couple and Khara's family.
The International Organisation for Animal Protection, an Italy based organisation affiliated with the United Nation representative in India Naresh Kadyan, Master Trainer of the Animal Welfare Board of India visited the A-6 area of Vasant Vihar after detailed discussion with Shri Risal Singh Khara, who taken up Gilly from Friendicoes SECA to A-6 first then his house in Gurgaon for treatment, care and shelter last week, during investigation Naresh Kadyan came to know that some foreigners tortured this Gilly and they lodged false complaint with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi - MCD and local NGO's working for animals like Friendicoes SECA. OIPA in India warns these foreigners not to hurt Indian community pets like Gilly. Today Gilly was restored in her own A-6 of Vasant Vihar area and the International Organisation for Animal Protection - OIPA in India appeal to rest of other organisation working for animal welfare in Delhi to support Gilly restoration and not to remove her from this place to another here after. Naresh Kadyan further stated that if anybody will torture and hurt Gilly with out any reason then matter will be taken up with the local Police for animal cruelty read with the other sections of the Indian Penal Code because as per information received Gilly was stoned and tortured by some foreign nationals in past. OIPA in India appreciated the compassion towards animals of A-6 residents including Khara's family..... well done Ms. Seerat Khasa said Ms. Sukanya Kadyan, animal rights activist of People for Animals - PFA Haryana and she further appeal to all residents of A-6 area to please continue feeding Gilly as per past practice, which is our fundamental duty as well as per article 51 A(g) of the Indian Constitution.
