SELECT WORKS BY NICOLE FITZGIBBON ON DISPLAY IN PHILADELPHIA THIS FIRST FRIDAY

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 31, 2009 -- September 4th, this First Friday, Philadelphia gets it's first look at select works from the 'Interplaying' collection by artist Nicole FitzGibbon. 'Interplaying' represents the latest evolution of her work, and showcases her innovative integration of modern digital and photographic styles with traditional painting and printmaking techniques. The artist is proud to announce the first public viewing of these works in Philadelphia as part of Angel Studio Gallery's monthly First Friday event.

Angel Studios Gallery, in the Fishtown area of Philadelphia, has been a wonderful supporter of local art and music. Recently, the owners of the gallery were robbed of their personal possessions, as well as the equipment for their livelihood. This, however, hasn't stopped them from continuing their monthly First Friday event, allowing artists to display their works, and creating an artistic community around their Frankford Ave studio and home. Their First Friday event features homemade food, drinks, music and a full night of entertainment.

Nicole Kristiana Studios invites everyone to come to the fall kick-off First Friday to enjoy the artwork, and help those who are making a space for artists to show in the city. Nicole's work will be on display in the front gallery, where you can also purchase limited edition art prints, art wear handbags, art wear shoes, and a collection of gift prints. The gift prints will be priced at a reduced price for this show only. A percentage of proceeds will be donated to the Angel Studios Gallery to help them recover from the theft, and to thank them for their support of the community.
