Ronnie Thomas was a former board member of the NOWRA – the National Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association and a current board member of VOWRA – Virginia Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association, where he has been since 1997.

For the past 5 years, he has been a Governor appointed member of the Sewage handling Appeals And Review Board for the Virginia Department of Health.
