Setting Goals to Overcome Doubts

The goals can be short or long term, they can be something we want to achieve weekly, monthly or longer, it doesn’t matter so long as they are achievable within the time we set to achieve them, having said this we also need to be flexible when unforeseen things happen, we are going to still achieve our goals but we may have to adjust how for the time being.

Setting goals is valuable to help keep our focus at all times, in any business everyone experiences good and not so good times, products do not arrive on time, accidents/sickness can happen, nature can produce some problems with floods, storms, snow, drought just to name a few, that is life.

We can insure against some income loss but we still need to have our goals in a place where we can see them so we remind ourselves What and Why we want to achieve, because some days will be trying, by looking at our goals this will help keep us focused and will help us overcome any doubts that try to creep into our minds.

One example of goal setting could be that you find free places to advertise your business every day for say 90 days, you then need to write your advertisements or articles (from your resource folder, news and facts etc.) Each day you discipline yourself to carry out this task and when you do this activity each day you are one day closer to achieving this one goal. This is a simple example but we really need to see that we are achieving step by step.

A caring mentor/s will always ask you to set goals so they can help you work towards achieving them and so you know where you want to go in life, to see the bigger picture. Start to imagine your goal fulfilled and speak it out.Setting goals does not cost money, it is how and what we use to achieve them that can cost money, so our goals need to be what our hearts desire/passion is in life.
