(Free-Press-Release.com) December 26, 2009 -- Oh my gosh what a weekend! We went on one of our usual walks in the fields around our house. We walked and walked and finally a rabbit ran. The dogs chased like the wind, but finally lost the rabbit. We repeated this multiple times and it was a glorious day. The rabbits are pretty fast and, while the dogs are fast, they are young and enjoy the chase. We changed fields and ran 4 hares. That was fun for all.

We finally get in the field and walked for hrs... The rabbits keep jumping but they were so far out there that the dogs would not have been able to catch up to them in time to have a course. Got another course off and the dogs lost the hare after 6 seconds. Very short courses so far....

Fenix participated in a 10 second course but it was fantastic! It was an amazing top notch course.

We hope to have Fenix qualify for the GC as I really think he has a chance at making a diffrence... What we did this weekend and what we can continue to do is fantastic, especially with such a young Greyhound.

So now that Fenix has two AK's he just needs either two 2nd placements or one 1st placement and a total of 90 points (he has 10 breed points so far) to obtain his Coursing Championship (CC).
