SHRIRAM EPC LIMITED CONSORTIUM WINS RS.488 CRORE ORDER FROM NMDC

Chennai, 16th December, 2011: Shriram EPC Limited (SEPC), a leading service provider of integrated design, engineering, procurement, construction and project management services for power plants, renewable energy projects, process and metallurgical plants and municipal service sector projects throughout India and manufacturer of wind turbine generators, announced that it has been awarded the contract for the Installation of a By Product Complex including Effluent Treatment Plant at the 3.0 MTPA Steel Plant of NMDC at Nagarnar in Chattisgarh. The value of the order win is Rs. 488 crore of which the value for Shriram EPC Limited is Rs.260 crore

The order entails Design, Engineering, Supply of Plant & Equipment, Structural and Civil Works, Erection, Testing and Commissioning. The schedule for completion of the project is 30 months.

Shriram EPC will lead a Consortium in association with Hutni Projeckt of the Czech Republic and Beekay Engineering Corporation to complete the order.

Commenting on the contract, Mr. T.
