FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) November 14, 2011 -- SIAS International University is the first solely American-owned University in Central China.
The aim of SIAS International University is to develop diligent and innovative professionals to meet the urgent demands of trans-national corporations and enterprises. Combining both Chinese educational philosophies with a Western model of education, Chinese students have the benefit of a fresh learning perspective while having access to alternative ways of thinking about business and liberal arts.

Following this progressive pro-active educational plan, Dr. Shawn Chen, President of SIAS has initiated a strategic alliance with GT Trends, an online travel company providing a host agency for Associate Travel Agents (ATA). An emerging leader in the leisure travel industry, GT Trends Inc., a Nevada Corporation, is a privately held company based in the USA with offices in China, India, The Philippines, and Australia. GT Trends has active representatives and members in more than sixty countries.
With the strategic alliance between SIAS and GT Trends, SIAS students will now have the opportunity to become Associate Travel Agents with GT Trends. Having their own independent travel business will enable the participating students to not only experience the reality of owning a business, but each student will also have the opportunity to create an income stream through booking travel and expanding their Travel Agency Business.

As a pacesetter in the Educational Arena, SIAS is definitely preparing its students for the explosive growth of China Travel and Tourism. CHINA TRAVEL IS AN EXPLODING INDUSTRY
Asia-Pacific Airline Growth will have over 100 Million seats flown this month; 99 million seats flown - 9% increase over last year; 11% increase in the number of airline flights; China is the second largest domestic airline market in the world; China’s International airline capacity increased by 1.1 million seats since last July; and these are only a few indicators of the potential travel market growth in China. And SIAS students will be prepared to capture this huge industry opportunity.

By 2020, the volume of China’s outbound trips will rival the U.S., and its domestic travel market will be worth about 3.9 trillion renminbi or $590 billion.
President Obama and the 21 leaders of the Asia-Pacific Economic cooperation (APEC) forum will launch this weekend a new “APEC Travel Facilitation Initiative” to make travel across the Asia-Pacific region easier, faster, and more secure.

Mr. Al Krauza and Fernando Laguda, GT Trends training specialists will be establishing a Travel and Tourism Training Facility on the SIAS Campus. All SIAS students participating in the GT Trends ATA program, will be trained in all aspects of the Travel and Tourism business and upon completion of the training, each ATA will receive an official GT Trends Associate Travel Agent Identification Badge. “We are very excited about the opportunity to participate in what may become the most successful job development program in China. With the success of this business model, GT Trends will expand the Travel Training programs to all universities throughout the Pacific Rim” states, Al Krauza.
GT Trends ATA’s are certified to book travel to and from over 150 countries and receive up to 50% of travel commissions. In addition, ATA’s will now be eligible to receive all travel agent discounts and upgrades on all their personal travels.
As the only approved Host Travel Company in China, GT Trends now accepts the China Union Pay Card for all Travel bookings and purchases.
