This unique range of bracelets and necklaces uses combinations of semi precious gemstone beads to represent the animal’s coat colour and these are combined with a single cat or dog charm.

The gemstone beads are sourced from around the world and include Crazy Lace Agate, Picture Jasper, Blue Cats Eye, Orange Cats Eye, Bamboo Stone, Tiger Eye, Orange Howlite, Natural Wood Lace Stone, Dragon Vein, Created Opal, Blue Amazonite, Grey, White & Black Agate, Sodalite, Carnelian and others which Jill combines to closely match the colours of many breeds of cats and dogs, often using the striking colours of the Cats Eye beads to represent eye colours.

Being natural stone, each gemstone has its own individual marking and colouration and no two gemstones will ever be exactly the same. This makes every “CharmBreed” bracelet or necklace totally unique.

Jill explains the inspiration behind the CharmBreeds concept:

“I had just taken delivery of some gemstone beads for another project, and was admiring the gorgeous colours, when one of my cats jumped up onto my workbench and sat looking at me. The rich orangey-brown beads in my hand were a perfect match for one of the colours in her Tortoiseshell coat. I quickly sorted through the other gemstones that had just been delivered and I soon had a combination of 3 gemstone beads which exactly matched all her colours… I had my cat, in bead form, in my hand and CharmBreeds was born: a new concept in Cat Jewellery design.”

Jill now produces two ranges – one using silver plated chains and charms and the other using all Sterling Silver. Each piece also features a tiny tag, attached at the fastening, which displays the distinctive CharmBreeds Logo as a mark of authenticity.

To complete the concept, each piece comes in its own uniquely designed and stylised gift box with a detailed description of the gemstone beads used as many of them are believed to bring spiritual, health and other supportive qualities.

CharmBreeds do not need feeding, exercising or grooming and they never need a vet… and now you really can take your cat or dog everywhere with you!
