SimpleCare Health Plan LLC, announces court settlement with Coastline Radio

(Free-Press-Release.com) June 19, 2010 -- SimpleCare Health Plan LLC, announces out of court settlement with "Coastline Radio" for playing unauthorized copyrighted adverts.

The settlement was signed on March 3rd 2010 and registered with the courts on March 10th, terms of the settlement called for the immediate termination of playing copyrighted adverts by Coastline Radio, compensatory monetary damages and acknowledgment of ownership by SimpleCare Health Plan LLC, and R.B. Prats, of Logo, Trademark name, domain name and concept.

Medical Director R.B. Prats stated that the legal system is very slow and frustrating in Spain, it allows individuals to continue working under false pretenses, fortunately the radio station after consulting with their UK and Spanish attorneys acknowledged the trademark infringement of our SimpleCare Logo, trademark name, advert recording and website in Spain mitigating further damages on their part.

Mr Prats stated "Our logo was designed in March 2008 by LogoWorks in the USA" and our website in January 2008 by Pixel Consultors in Barcelona but unfortunately unscrupulous individuals training as agents used access to our data system to unlawfully register our logo, domain and trademark name here in Spain without our knowledge and authorization. During there court statements when asked by SC Attorneys to provide proof of ownership or authorization for registering trademark logo and name they were unable to provide any evidence or documentation stating they had nothing in writing allowing the use or registration of Logo and trademark name.
