(Free-Press-Release.com) October 8, 2009 -- SIMULTANEOUS SIDEWALK RALLIES TARGET SENATORS CASEY AND MENENDEZ ON OBAMACARE

Philadelphia (September 8, 2009) – Tea Partiers will target Senators Bob Casey and Bob Menendez, tomorrow, in two Simultaneous Sidewalk Town Halls outside the Senators’ respective offices in Center City. Philadelphia and Barrington, New Jersey.

The purpose of the Sidewalk Town Halls is to call public attention to next week’s Senate votes on health care legislation.

“Neither Casey nor Menendez held Health Care Town Halls in our region. They know that a majority of Pennsylvania and New Jersey residents are opposed to the “so-called” reform, said Teri Adams.
“Yet, they are prepared to ignore their constituents and ram a bill
down their throats.”

“Adding insult to injury was Casey’s recent vote on Acorn and Menendez’ refusal to support an amendment requiring Congressional legislation to
be posted on the internet 72 hours before being voted on in Congress.”

The Independence Hall Tea Party Association, a tri-state regional group founded earlier this year after the Tax Week Tea Parties in April, is sponsoring the event.
