Small Business Network Supports Youth Entrepreneurs with Advertising for Charity Campaign

BiznessDoor.com, the online network of small business owners, announced today that it will sponsor its first Advertising for Charity campaign to raise money for the local Charity YouthBiz, Inc. Dedicated to the advancement of urban youth in academics, leadership and small business, YouthBiz Colorado will receive 20 percent of all funds raised through the advertising campaign to support its growth and leadership programs. Small business owners will be encouraged to advertise a $25.00 local banner ad on the BiznessDoor.com website and offer special promotions for consumers to raise the funds.

Local business networks throughout the Denver metro area, including the Mile High Business Alliance, Diversity Committee at South Metro Denver Chamber, and Denver University, Center for Multicultural Excellence, have signed on as Community Partners to support the campaign.

Because BiznessDoor.com offers online advertising, it was an ideal channel to create a campaign that worked well for YouthBiz, consumers, and small business. For the next few weeks, small businesses in the Denver metro area are invited to participate by posting a local banner ad on the BiznessDoor.com website for $25.00 per week. YouthBiz will receive 20 percent of every sale to support their youth entrepreneur and leadership programs. Participating businesses will also have an opportunity to publish special promotions on the website to encourage new and repeat clientele.

Consumers will receive notification via flyers and email to help support local, participating businesses by supporting their efforts and taking advantage of their special offers during the course of the month. On October 8, 2009 participating businesses will be invited to attend a private networking reception to honor YouthBiz and provide them with the amount of funds raised.
