A small Internet company is giving away money that they don't have and they are wondering why no one seems to want the money. The money's sitting on an office shelf and it's collecting dust!
Why would any company be so silly as to give away money when they don't have any to give away? There is only one reason and that's to make money.
Okay, but how can they make money if they're giving it away? That sounds contradictory and somewhat silly! If you have six dollars and you give away six dollars, then you have lost six dollars. And, if you didn't have six dollars to begin with, then you are six œmore dollars in the hole. If you keep doing that, you'll either be so deep in the hole that you'll never get out or you'd better have something else up your sleeve. Which is it?
Believe it or not, but this company is really digging itself a hole for a reason and they can only hope that the reason pays off. What's the reason? Too many people have bought something from their online store and then wrote and told them that it's too bad, because they didn't even know that the store existed. They thought how can that be when they've written many articles about hearing loss and put out several Press Releases about the store. People are searching all the time on the Internet for good deals and for information. Their store has both, but yet no one seems to be able to find it. So, they came up with something that they hoped would at least get people to look in the store. Will it work? Only time will tell. However, if it doesn't work, then they will still have the six dollars that they didn't have in the first place and they can always use the six dollars. So, they figure that they have nothing to lose and hopefully lots to gain.
That's why they started the Treasure Hunt. They figured it would be fun for people to try to find a hidden Hard of Hearing symbol, then get the free gift, which also for March includes either a one dollar or five dollar bill along with it. What's the gift this month? “ it's an excellent manual about Hearing loss called œFacing the Challenge. They figured that surely somewhere, someone would either be Hard of Hearing or know someone that was and would want the manual. They thought that someone could get the manual œfree; keep it or give it to a friend, and keep the money. They'd feel good about themselves, have some fun, and have a little extra cash on top of that.
However, although they created the Treasure Chest in January, they've only had one person that actually went to their store, looked through the pages, found the hidden symbol, and claimed the free prize. That person was Bob S, from Oakridge, Oregon, who got the prize in February. Now, the March Treasure Chest prizes sit on a shelf in their office and still await someone, somewhere to claim them.
I am hoping that people will try to find the hidden treasure! If people don't look for the treasure, then I have to assume that either they don't know that my store exists or they don't know that the free gift exists.
I hope that people can find my store and take the money that I don't have off my hands. It's tough sitting here with no money and can't touch the six dollars that is sitting on my shelf, because it belongs to someone else.
Please help them out and try to find the hidden symbol. The symbol is hidden on one of the pages in their store at http://www.bestassistedlivingaids.com. The owner, Stan Straub, says that you can make him smile and make this his œlucky St. Patrick's Day! œ:)
Stan says, "Thanks for hunting and Happy St. Patrick's Day!"
