SMItty Award Nomination for B Fragrances Perfume Gels

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 1, 2011 -- Startup company B Fragrances was recently nominated for the “Scent Technology Innovation” SMItty award, for the range of perfume gels.

Jennifer Dublino, COO of the Scent Marketing Institute contacted perfume designer Belinda Cook in November to pass on the news.

The prestigious award is one of only five awards that will be given out at ScentWorld Expo 2011 in December this year.

B Fragrances was in the media recently having launched a project on Project PowerUp to raise capital to fund expansion into the American market in collaboration with another award winning company Scandle Candles.

“I’m quite excited about the award nomination, and our growth. Both happened very quickly and were completely unexpected” Cook says.

“I started out just wanting a solution to perfumes leaking and other people seem to like the idea too”

“Our perfume gels have a natural plant extract base, without harmful sulfates, parabens, and are gentle on the skin, and most importantly leak free, which makes them perfectly portable” says Cook
