SNOWRIDERS AND DOING IT 4 THE KIDS LAUNCH PARTNERSHIP AT THE BOSTON GLOBE SKI & SNOWBOARD EXPO

As many Bostonians dreadfully watched the first flurries of the season glow in the lamp posts of the night air this past week of October, the snow enthusiasts behind two of Boston’s buzz-organizations were absolutely thrilled. SnowRiders has teamed up with Doing it 4 the KIDS for some exciting events this winter, and are showcasing their partnership at Boston’s 2011 Ski & Snowboard Exposition at the Seaport World Trade Center.

As the season changes, so will SnowRiders’ mission for 2011, an initiative of the three Goyette brothers, who are also the founders, of the rapidly growing business. SnowRiders provides fun-filled, discounted ski and snowboard trips and experiences for fellow adventurists, and this year they’d like a more philanthropic focus on hosting their events. Their generosity has led them to team up with other young entrepreneurs of the Doing it 4 the KIDS organization. The partnership will share efforts in organizing and promoting ski trips to Sunday River in ME, Loon Mountain in NH, and Jay Peak in VT, to name a few. If the past two years success is any indicator, than their kick off party November 19th, a rail jam with live music on Yawkey Way, is promised to be a great time.

Doing it 4 the KIDS is a community outreach company that organizes social and competitive events, which the proceeds are ultimately directed towards the education, experiences and development of children in the Boston community, with their ultimate beneficiary being the youth served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. Founders Tyler Wakstein and Ryan Barry express that this collaborative effort aligns perfectly with their goal of working with other young professionals to integrate goodwill motives with social events.

SnowRiders and Doing it 4 the KIDS will share a booth at The Boston Globe Ski & Snowboard Expo taking place November 10-13, where folks from all over New England shop and interact with the many vendors and representatives from local mountains, engaging with norʼeaster dreams in mind. Stop by and have a chance to win FREE tickets to the kickoff party on Yawkey Way November 19.
