Soap Media, which employs six staff, has set-up shop in East Cliff, just off Winckley Square, after five years based in semi-rural Longton, south of Preston.

The agency provides search engine optimisation (SEO), pay per click and website design and development services for clients across the UK including Pontins, Key Retirement Solutions, American Golf and southern-based companies Association of Specialist Medical Accountants and charity, Wesser.

Originally launched in 2005 by brothers, Markerle and Adam Davis, the agency is looking to increase its national profile as well as boost is position in the regional marketplace.

Markerle Davis, managing director of Soap, said: “Preston has a terrific infrastructure and our new central base will serve us well, in particular the two-hour rail connection from Preston to London.

“Our phone has not stopped ringing this year. Companies are naturally wanted to get more from their marketing budgets and are rightly so viewing digital marketing as a transparent return on investment tactic. We are achieving some amazing digital marketing results and this is breeding recommendations.
