Visitors to the new site can search for products on a rolling display, read in-depth descriptions, watch previews of most items, and fill a shopping cart, all without leaving the front page of the site. Visitors who prefer a more traditional listing of products can click “View in List.”
Despite the technological advances, SocialLearning.com® remains an old-fashioned small business with in-house staff answering the phones and filling orders. In addition, the cost of the upgrades was not passed on to customers, who still pay a flat shipping fee in the US of $16.50 for all orders, regardless of the size of the order. Product prices have held steady.
SocialLearning.com® markets all DVDs and books produced by Northwest Media, Inc., as well as carefully selected products by other vendors.
