Software Executive Phil Yarbrough Launches New Residential Real Estate Career

After a thirty-year career traveling the world selling big-ticket financial software to international companies, Phil Yarbrough is putting aside his passport and coming home.

Yarbrough says his experience selling multimillion-dollar financial software to executives from American Express, MasterCard, Citibank and other global companies has given him unique insights into human nature and customer expectations. “When people are making huge financial decisions that will affect their futures – whether those people are company presidents or a husband and wife – they want economic counseling from an expert who has studied the complexities inherent in such a huge investment,” Yarbrough says.

Yarbrough turned to his economics background and deep knowledge of computer software and built a powerhouse collection of algorithms and programs to help buyers and sellers understand the complexities inherent in real estate transactions, such as absorption-rate pricing theory. He uses his technical tools with each of his customers. “My clients tell me these programs make it much easier to see all the options they have and to make smart decisions. Playing ‘what-if’ scenarios are easy to use and extremely effective.”
