Solamon initiates expansion plan targeting Middle East; company launches new bureau in Lebanon

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 23, 2012 -- (Toronto) — Ushering in an exciting new era for Solamon Energy, CEO Graeme Boyce proudly announced today the company has extended its reach beyond Caribbean waters and into the Middle East with the appointment of Mr Mazen Braish to the position of Senior Vice President. According to Boyce, Braish, effective immediately will be based in the Solamon Head Office, located in Toronto, tasked with developing relationships within government ministries, civic administrations and leading businesses in Lebanon and UAE.

Boyce says Braish, who will report to Solamon President Jay Yeo, is responsible to deliver revenue by marketing the Apollo Acre™, which will include a spectrum of activity across several industries in the short-term. “We have every confidence in Mr Braish, given his contacts, to begin researching and prioritizing from among many numerous vertical markets and thereafter creating the necessary partnerships required to install and commission each Apollo Acre™ successfully, as well as maintain them in the future and keep them secure,” explains Boyce.

“Mr Braish comes to the table with well-established and well-respected relationships at the highest level across the Middle East,” he adds, “and we look forward to delivering large solar farms into their communities. There is a lot of hard work ahead and we are going to need a lot of help to build these farms, and the Lebanese people who we have met recently are certainly excited to begin building. Mr Braish has already named an executive team and they are eager to introduce new technologies and our integrated systems across the region.”

Solamon provides a fully managed solution for its Apollo Acre™, a turnkey process from beginning to end including site inspections, project design and development, as well as addressing requisite environmental and local permitting, 3rd party engineering, procurement and construction, as well as system testing and eventual commissioning, security and maintenance.

The company is excited to deliver turnkey power plants using renewable solar energy as a resource to forward-thinking countries, and develop mutually beneficial and long-term relationships around the world. “It’s no secret, our executives are certainly looking for local partners to manage each new Apollo Acre™ array,” Boyce concludes. “However, our partners must also be willing to establish and operate a suitable post-implementation maintenance program, especially in collaboration with government agencies who’ve offered to provide standards and training certification criteria especially in the growing Carbon Credit market.”

Solamon Energy typically offers a ground-mounted solar array of integrated photovoltaic cells over 5 acre packages of land, which is called the Apollo Acre™. The company now also designs and installs custom solutions with local partners to provide roof-mounted and parking lot systems that are easily augmented by micro wind turbine technology and other innovative features.

About Solamon: Solamon Energy Corp. sells integrated arrays of ground-mounted and rooftop photovoltaic cells. These solar power plants are connected by cable to varied transmission equipment, including converters, inverters and batteries, utilizing 5 acres of land per unit; each unit is called an Apollo Acre™. Additionally, it is expected the company’s business activities will spin-off many jobs locally, given engineering requirements, construction, unit commissioning and subsequent maintenance.
