Ronald Kessler is the New York Times bestselling author of eighteen non-fiction books. Kessler began his career as a journalist in 1964 on the Worcester Telegram. Since then, he has worked as an investigative reporter, editorial writer, staff writer, and finally, author. Ronald joined the radio talk show, Sound Authors, to talk about his newest release, 'In the President's Secret Service.' This book goes behind the scenes with agents in the line of fire, and the presidents they protect. Other guests on the show were: Thomas Childers, an author whose most recent book, 'Soldier from the War Returning' looks at the greatest generation's troubled homecoming from World War II; children's author Peter Brown who offered a look into his whimsical new book, 'The Curious Garden'; and musician Chris Smither, who shared two songs from his newest album, 'Time Stands Still.'
